Google Adsense. Useful Facts to Bear in Mind

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

The rumor over duplicate content has been going on for quite a long time now, and I see it as simply just another money making scheme by online entrepreneurs wishing to chase down the Golden Goose. Almost every day, my inbox is inundated with yet another “article converter” that is guaranteed to make my private label rights articles hit the top of the search engines with no fear of the Google Police knocking at my PR door, screaming “Duplicate Content!”

I oftentimes wonder how many of the so called gurus take the time to really read the Google Adsense Program Policies. And I wonder many times during my working day just how many people open their wallets to let fly their hard earned dollars to these people.

Here are Google’s exact words, and I quote: “Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.” What does this really tell us? Does it tell us that the PLR sites that sell thousands of the same articles to people who don’t have time – or are too lazy – to write their own content are breaking Google’s rules? Not hardly. Google is telling us that we cannot create what used to be called “mirror sites” (This is a Web site which contains the same information that is located on another site. If the site abc.com is the same as def.com, then it may be disqualified from listing by search engines) in an attempt to increase Page Rank and increase Adsense income.

Many opinions abound on the forums and elsewhere on the web discussing duplicate content. And many entrepeneurs have taken advantage of the misinterpretation of Google’s policies to capitalize on this. Because Google has made this the era of content, everyone that is involved in the online communities is scrambling for the proper answers. I see threads that are three to five pages in length on the more popular forums with people agonizing over their fear of duplicate content. What a field day for the guru’s! I wonder how many thousands – perhaps millions – have been made by people taking advantage of this fear factor?

Lets examine the facts. If there really was a duplicate content filter then many news web sites that publish AP or Reuters news would be banned from search engines. Many catalogue sites would go under, because they sell the same products, using the same promotional items as other sites. Affiliate sites would be banned from the search engines because people use the promotional items provided by the site owners. And even the giant eBay would go under, because anyone who has spent time there sees a ton of items listed which are identical, using the same description, same images, and same user ID. I wonder how Copyscape.com would handle this?

What about the sites that put articles and ezines in archive. This content ends up being displayed both in static pages and archives as well. Penalized for duplicate content, when the website owner wants to have his articles available to the general public? I doubt it…

Common sense is the order of the day. If you take the time to provide original and unique content to your site, the site is well optimized for the search engines, and you have relevant backlinks, then your site will do well with no fear of penalty.

Don’t use article scrapers, which mirror the exact content of other sites, and is nothing more than a rip off. If you buy PLR articles, try to rewrite them in your own unique voice. If your budget will allow, hire a ghostwriter to create articles pertinent to your particular niche. And most of all, just use plain common sense!

How Do You Create Your Very Own Marketing Course In Various Ways

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

You’ll hear lots of marketers talking about a big pay out. If you want the same, you’ll find they always have one thing in common: an Internet Marketing Course. It’s much easier to consistently make money online when you have your own product to sell. If you decide that you would like to create your own Internet marketing course then let me show you three ways that can help you do so.

Product Creation Method #1 – Using Private Label Rights
Private Label Rights (PLR) are all the rage right now online. In short, PLR means taking an existing product or item for which you have purchased the PLR rights, make it your own product and sell it. PLR rights basically mean “The Rights to Label it as your Own”. The only problem is that almost anyone can access these, either free or usually at a low fee, and so many of them become less valuable. Although, assuming you can obtain the private label rights to a lesser known product, this might just be an excellent cash cow. Just hire someone to rebrand it for you, repackage it and promote it for instant cash.

Product Creation Method #2 – Create Your Own Videos
Just about everyone will agree that videos have quickly become the latest Internet sensation. It’s no different with courses that are being sold online. With videos, customers can be given step by step instructions that they can follow along with. Videos that feature an product for which you are an affiliate is another great way to effectively use video. You could for example explain some advanced features of the product and show people how to use them step-by-step. After making your instruction videos, offer them as a free reward for people who make purchases through your affiliate link (for which you get a commission).

Regardless of which video-method you choose, keep in mind a video is going to make a deeper impression than a written report any day.

Product Creation Method #3 – The Audio Interview
I personally prefer this method because even if you’re new at whatever you do, you can still get instant credibility. Furthermore, this method is not used by as much people as PLR for example so you’ll be able to stand out more. Best of all there are a ton of marketers who will give you an hour of their time in exchange for some free promotion. Simply call or email them for an interview. Explain that you want to use a recording of the interview for an upcoming product which you’ll be promoting heavily. Also tell them briefly about your marketing plans so you’ll establish credibility and won’t be considered a waste of their time. They are very likely to agree to the interview if you inform them that you will be plugging their product or service into the course. After recording the audio interview, rinse and repeat with other marketers, add some “packaging” and your course is ready to go.

While there are other methods of product creation such as writing an e-book, creating graphics, or creating a template of some sort, these are just a few of the common ways that anyone can use to begin to profit over the Internet. You can read more about these on OmalaMarketing.com. Proceed to sign up affiliates who will promote your product after you have completed development of your Internet Marketing Course. After that you can cash the checks or watch money roll into your Paypal account. Don’t forget to send me my “consultation commission” ;)

Writing articles for your MLM Home Business Opportunity can help you build your subscriber base, upsurge your downlines and profits when done well. Here are some tips on how you can productively distribute your articles for utmost exposure and results:

1. Make use of article directories for your article submission. There is currently some controversy over whether submitting to just a little top directories would get you the desirable results or submitting to as many directories as possible. In my humble opinion, if it is for goal of exposure, I’ll say “the more, the merrier”. present to as many article directories as possible. Just getting an average of 100 page views per directory, can transform into about 30,000 article readers who will ultimately click your author’s byline to visit your website.

2. To upsurge the outcome of this exponentially, offer your visitors a compiled edition of your articles to send to their friends. If your articles are that good , know that individuals would want to send them to their acquaintances and colleagues.

3. List these articles on your website so that if Person A arrived at the site as a product of reading one of your articles on an article directory, he can have the chance of reading some of your other articles.

4. Look for communities where folks of comparable minds link with each other. A single mention of your article to a list of about 100,000 can upsurge your business’ exposure extremely . Most times, if your articles were good , individuals would want to publish them on their websites and add them to their lists.

Advertising By Means Of PPC

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

Forbes magazine has reported that PPC advertising spend has reached $8 billion in 2008.

The three primary core elements that form the basis of a successful PPC ad program are constant monitoring, analysis, and refinement.

PPC search engines offer a way to buy your way to the top of search results for any term you wish. With proper Pay Per Click management, and a clear focus, PPC search engines can offer some of the most well targeted and reasonably priced ways of advertising on the Internet.

PPC advertising works through a bidding process, and the ads appear prominently on the results pages of search engines such as Google and Yahoo. The highest bidder for a particular word or phrase receives top placement, and depending on the engine, the top three to five bidders also usually receive placement on the first page of unpaid search results.

Fundamental questions to be addressed when formulating a PPC search engine strategy include the following:

- Does Google AdWords or Overture work better for your particular product or service? Or, perhaps neither one is correct from a return on investment (ROI) standpoint.

- How can you keep your PPC bids from cannibalizing your search efforts on other non PPC search engines?

- What percentage of your PPC budget should go to each search engine?

- When is the top PPC bid necessary for highest conversion, and when will bidding for a second or third place position create a more attractive return on investment (ROI)?

It is of vital importance to focus sharply on identifying the search terms that convert most repeatedly for your particular site, eliminating those that don’t perform, and most importantly, calculating and maximizing your return on investment.

The cost structure of PPC is action-driven and each time a user clicks your ad, the PPC engine deducts the amount of your current bid from your account. PPC offers a high level of assurance that your ad is reaching the proper target. PPC campaigns, however, are not perfect. Without CONSTANT PPC campaign management, you sometimes risk incurring advertising costs that can spiral out of control, focusing on terms that don’t convert well for your product or services, or falling way down in position during a bidding war.

Pay-Per-Click advertising can be a great help to a site’s success, but only with very close supervision and a thorough knowledge of the unique characteristics of each PPC search engine.

Resell Rights: A VERY Profitable Business

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

Resell Rights: The Quickest And Easiest Way To Make Money And Work From Home

Resell rights give you the ultimate way to generate fast profits. This is because everything is already set up for you by the creator of the package.

Any good resell rights product will give you a
professionally written salesletter along with the product itself in .zip format. Here are the steps you need to do to get going:

1. Get a hosting account. There are lots of hosting companies out there that will set you up for as little as $10 per month or less.

2. Get a domain name that is compatible with the product you are selling and point it to your web host.

3. Upload the salesletter and instantly downloadable product to your hosting account.

That’s it! That’s all you have to do to get set up. All you have to do after this is to get some traffic to your sales page and you should start to see some income.

How do you get traffic to your sales page? There are lots of tips and techniques that are covered in courses you can buy, but here are some of the easiest, no-cost ways to get traffic:

1. Find forums and chat groups that get a good amount of traffic and spend an hour a day posting something intelligent about your subject or asking intelligent questions.

2. Find blogs relevant to your topic and post an
intelligent comment based on the contents of the blog.

3. Write short articles 300 to 500 words long and post them to ezinearticles.com or goarticles.com or
searchwarp.com. Put a link to your resell rights package in the author information section.

4. After you write the article, click the link that allows you to set it up as an RSS feed then go to pingoat.com and “ping” your article. (Enter the url of your article into both “Blog url” and “xml feed”.) That will get traffic to your article quickly.

5. After you write your article go to onlywire.com where you can post it on several social networking sites in one shot.

Using these techniques you should get good quality, targeted traffic to your sales page very quickly. If you do these steps consistently, everyday for a month you could be making several thousand dollars every month from that point onward.

Here are the things that could go wrong:

1. You could have an old, over-used product that your audience already knows about or they can get for free on the Internet.

2. You could have a product that does not appeal to a “hungry crowd”. In other words, no one wants to pay for what you have to sell.

3. You could have a salesletter that is not very well written.

For solutions to these problems go to:
master resell rights . This site will also show you how to set up an automatic income stream without having to keep re-doing the above steps forever.

Making Influential Web Sites That Sells

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

To accomplish something in your online venture, you require a website created precisely for that – a straightforward, concentrated site. One that is effortless to put up, inexpensive, credible, and a strong traffic-builder and customer-converter. The quality of your web copywriting plays a big role.

Owning the correct tool and the correct product in themselves doesn’t insure the success of your business. There are various issues to be considered while designing a site. Sorry to say, a good number of these are ignored by online business owners… So here are some copywriting tips to help.

1. Make To Load Promptly

It’s a truth of present-day life – folks are in a hurry. This indicates that you have somewhere from 10 to 30 seconds to secure your potential customer’s attention. To diminish your load time, maintain graphics tiny.

2. Focus On One Market

Grasp who your market is and make sure that your site caters to their wants. It is essential that your web site imitate the values of your prospects. Is your market typically corporate pro? If so, the web site ought to be clean. Is your product designed mostly for youngsters and young adults? Then your site may well be more informal. The solution here is to identify your market and put up a web site to their preferences.

3. Focus On One Goal

Check that your site is centered on the purpose, advertising your product or service. A site offering lots of irrelevant products will not automatically flop, but this is frequently the case. If your site does offer lots of products, devote a unique webpage for each instead of attempting to market them all from one page.

4. Navigation have to be simple

Natural and effective navigation increases the convenience of the visitors. Put in potent search and catalog features. Almost always a lot of browsers do not have the staying power to navigate through the entire web site to obtain what they are seeking.

5. Check that your site is interactive and personalized

Employ feedback forms with email forms to help your potential clients pose questions they may perhaps have relating to your product.

Personalization of your website is another important factor that can lead to customer satisfaction and can raise your sales. Personalization technology would give you an idea of what products to cross-sell and up-sell. For example, when a person buys a car, car accessories can also be offered.

These eight, simple rules will go a long way toward enhancing your website and most importantly, transform browsers into customers.

The Rationale Behind Paid Review Websites

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

Review sites are jumping up across the internet at a speed which is dizzying. Why is this the case? Is there much money to be gotten from them or are the owners making these sites up for altruistic reasons?

In a nutshell, there are so many because it’s great for business. Whatever type of business you are involved in, review sites are now an ever more important part of your marketing mix. We are living in a world which is getting ever more distracting through a bewildering array of choices given to us daily.

We as a consumerist society simply do not have enough time to carefully look into the choices we want to make and as a result we need to take shortcuts in our decision making.

Think about the last high price thing you bought. Did you pull out the credit card on the spur of the moment and make a purchase. I’m betting not – I’m betting you probably asked around with friends and neighbours to solicit their advice and see if they had previously bought the item in question.

You were looking for their advice and their opinions count.

Like it or not, we are all very alike when it comes to this buying decision making activity. We are at heart a “marketing herd” and are swayed by other peoples opinions – even the opinions of total strangers!

There are reviews on pretty much every conceivable subject known to man, from cause-related marketing all the way through to the best types of plants you should purchase. Conduct a quick search on any search engine and you are next to guaranteed to locate some useful reviews very quickly.

Should you trust all the reviews you come across? Definitely not. There are lots of of nefarious people out there submitting reviews with their own hidden reasons. You cannot simply rely solely on the say-so of a single review. Instead, you need to put the review in context, try to find a few more reviews (maybe put in some extra searches with phrases like “scam” as an example to find some differing points of view.

Review sites work, have worked and will work because they provide us the seductive promise of discovering useful information about things we are interested in and saving us the most important resource we have – time.

Copywriting For Internet Marketing

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

Copywriting is the use of words to promote a person, business, opinion, or idea. Although the word copy may be applied to any content intended for printing (as in the body of a newspaper article or book), the term copywriter is generally limited to such promotional situations, regardless of media (as advertisements for print, television, radio or other media). The author of newspaper or magazine copy, for example, is generally called a reporter or writer, not a copywriter.

(Although the word copywriting is correctly and regularly used as a noun or gerund, and copywrite is sometimes used as a verb by professionals, copywrite is not listed by major dictionaries.Copywrite as a noun is always incorrect.)

Thus the purpose of marketing copy, or promotional text, is to persuade the reader, listener or viewer to act — for example, to buy a product or subscribe to a certain viewpoint. Alternatively, copy might also be intended to dissuade a reader. Copywriting is “getting across the perfect message, with the perfect words.”

Copywriting can appear in direct mail pieces, taglines, jingle lyrics, web page content (although if the purpose is not ultimately promotional, its author might prefer to be called a content writer.), online ads, e-mail and other Internet content, television or radio commercial scripts, press releases, white papers, catalogs, billboards, brochures, postcards, sales letters, and other marketing communications media.

One of the first steps to writing your website content is to ask yourself three questions:

  • Who is my target market?
  • What information are they looking for?
  • What action do you want your visitor to take?

These are three important questions because web copywriting isn’t just putting a bunch of web content on your pages. The most common mistake that people make when they are writing website content is writing about themselves or trying to sell something too quickly. Most people don’t surf the internet to buy stuff, they are looking for information. How quickly do you leave a website when you’re looking for info and all you read is stuff like “Welcome to our website”, “Our company has been trading since…”, “Cheap products”.

The thing is, you can’t write your web content around the product you want to sell (although that’s why you’re writing web copy in the first place). You have to give the people the information they need to make an informed decision about your product.

Compelling Web Copy For The Web 2.0 Audience — If Salesletters Are Dead, What Works On The Web Nowadays?

Published by admin under Internet Marketing

Have you had this experience before? –> You receive an e-mail from an Internet marketing “guru” endorsing a new product. You then click through to the website which displays the sales copy — and you buy (or don’t buy) the product based on the strength of the endorsement — not necessarily on how well the copy is written.

Sound familiar?

This model of doing business has been used successfully, both online and offline. Endorsements by “big name” personalities — or people we at least admire or respect — influence our frame of mind so much that we tend to look favorably on whatever it is they’re endorsing. And sometimes this “star struck” response makes us perceive the sales copy favorably as well, no matter how cheesy it might be.

This got me thinking about how well a piece of sales copy would perform if it were to stand alonewithout someone’s endorsement preceding the website visit. Could this be the reason why Internet marketing “gurus” boast off-the-charts sales figures — because they have an army of joint venture partners endorsing their product — something most of us “average Joes” will never have? More importantly, has this “old boy” network given rise to the proliferation of sub-standard sales copywriting because of the complacency that the copy is given the “halo” of credibility by endorsements?

Indeed, when you look closely at the caliber of sales copywriting that many of the top marketers utilise, it insults the intelligence of people and often elicits the reaction, “Do people really buy this crap? Whom do they think they’re fooling?”

Between 2005 to 2008, I believe there’s been a progressive decline in the effectiveness of the salesletter. So much so that in late 2007, Michel Fortin published a 51-page report titled “The Death of the Salesletter” which talks about the downhill weakening in the effectiveness of the typical “Dear Friend” salesletter as far as selling on the Internet is concerned.

In the report, the author admits that most of the other top Internet marketers like John Reese predict the eventual demise of “ugly websites” (long-scrolling formulaic web copy with the usual glaring fonts, the laundry list of overvalued bonuses, the endless P.S.’s, etc.). These are sites that Armand Morin calls “cartoonish” websites. Many other Internet marketing leaders like Mike Filsaime also agree that the cookie-cutter salesletter-style copy is falling out of favor.

Michel calls for a move toward writing more editorial-like sales copy that gives more content; turning the sales process into an experience; eliminating overused copywriting tactics that no longer work — and ultimately producing copy that’s stronger, pithier and more to the point.

Recently, I found a website that features irresistible web copy that I think ought to be the new standard for writing copy for the Internet population. It’s written in the editorial style and it’s a refreshing departure from the hackneyed, “snake oil salesman,” Slick Willie kind of sales pitching. It gives a lot of compelling information before “going for the kill” and it made me feel like I was reading an informative article about a topic of interest to me, instead of being sold to.

It employs an elegant, soft sell approach that, nevertheless, packs a powerful punch — and best of all, it respects, not insults, the intelligence of the reader. In my opinion, this is compelling web copy that we should all emulate. The copy still utilised a long-scrolling webpage, but I found it a highly intriguing and entertaining read.
Considering that I was a cold prospect who arrived at the website after clicking on a Google search result, and I didn’t arrive there via the endorsement of a colleague or “guru” — and on top of all that, I’m definitely not one who’s easily “sold” — this speaks volumes about the power of this piece of sales copy.

Granted, I happen to be the exact target audience of the eBook being sold on the website (titled “The One-Minute Cure: The Secret to Healing Virtually All Diseases”), I still think there’s a lot of magic going on in this editorial style of sales copywriting.

It would be immensely valuable for marketers to deconstruct the sales copy to discover the elements that make people want to buy. Better still, if we can find out who wrote this brilliant sales copy, we can pick his or her brain to see if we can learn the hidden psychology behind this kind of copy.

If we, marketers, learn the inner workings of this editorial style of sales copywriting, we could all make a bloody killing in them thar Internet hills!

If this trend towards editorial style copywriting were to become the norm, I can’t help but wonder what will become of those fill-in-the-blanks template-based copywriting programs that produce cookie-cutter pieces of sales copy that look like everyone else’s.

The Rising Demand for Internet Marketing Virtual Assistants

There is a definitive growing demand for internet marketing virtual assistants, but it’s also certainly no secret that the online world can be a competitive one when it comes to certain business niches. However, with the right type of marketing efforts, it’s definitely possible for one to outshine the others and quickly set themselves apart from the rest.

In addition to the many individual entities and small companies conducting businesses via the internet, larger corporations are also following suit and hiring virtual employees to oversee the online aspects of their business. Luckily for the prospective IMVA, many are unaware of how to remain competitive and how things like a well thought out website can make the difference between attracting new customers and imminent failure.

The Benefits of Being an IMVA

The benefits of becoming an internet marketing virtual assistant are numerous and plentiful. For one, you are able to set your own hours and dictate when and how long you devote to working each week, which is ideal if you have children and a household to run along with managing and growing your business. Compare to virtual assistant, you can charge a much higher hourly rate if you position yourself as internet marketing virtual assistant. I hired IMVA a few times, their average hourly rate is $45. It sounded a lot to me when I first used IMVA, but then, I found it worth the price.

Being an IMVA will also benefit one’s own business endeavors by staying on top of the latest trends in internet marketing such as search engine optimization (SEO), keyword placement, and how it’s possible to make an impressive income by affiliate programs alone.

Taking Full Advantage Of Your Effectiveness By Examining Your Time

To become more productive in your business, you must first take note of how you are currently spending the majority of your time.

What matters is how productive you are. It doesn’t matter how much time you spend working on your business, if you’re not doing the things that really matter, you’re just wasting your time.

You can spend hours of time visiting various sites, spying on your competitors, reading different articles or blog posts, and researching the forums to see what people have to say about specific topics related to your market, but this type of activity, in and of itself, isn’t productive.

It doesn’t matter where you spend the majority of time, write down every little thing you do with your time. Include the amount of time spent on those activities, so you can begin the process of cutting unnecessary activities from your life.

Do you get caught in the “OCD Loop?”

The OCD Loop involves a phenomenon among many Internet marketers where they exhibit a form of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in the way that they are obsessive about following a specific sequence of actions repeatedly throughout the day, in many cases.

What a lot of marketers will do before they take action on anything truly productive for their businesses is to start off by checking their email, where they take the time to read various emails, reply to emails, and even decide to write new emails because of something that reminded them to do so in another email.

Then, once they finish checking their email, maybe they decide to jump over to check out Google Analytics or another web stats program to see what type of traffic their sites have received, or maybe they login to their shopping cart to check out the details of any orders that may have been placed.

Once they’ve reviewed their latest conversion rates, opt-in percentages, and so on, they may surf over to their favorite discussion forums or blogs that they read on a regular basis to do some research on their target market, or even to other sites like CNN or ESPN to check out the latest news or sports scores.

Then, the amazing thing that happens after they’ve checked out all of the sites that they are accustomed to visiting, is they decide to check out their email, again, to see if they’ve received anything new that might interest them.

When they’re finally done checking their email a second time and visiting all of the sites they found promoted within those emails, they jump back over to their stats program, again, to see how things are going with their websites.

If you’re really honest with yourself, you need to ask yourself how often you actually allow yourself to fall into this OCD Loop, and fail to stay focused on doing the things that bring money into your business.

Your Lucrative Career as an Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant

With more and more companies, both small and large, conducting their business online, more and more of them are also looking to increase their internet presence and therefore need the assistance and guidance of a professional internet marketer. Internet marketing can be compared to a foreign language to some people who have absolutely no idea what it entails or where they should even begin to start.

Many begin their online business thinking that because of the vastness of the internet they will somehow magically reach their intended audience and become instantly successful overnight. For this very reason, there is an increased demand for what is known as an internet marketing virtual assistant, giving those with the knowledge and expertise to turn their efforts into their own lucrative business right from the comforts of home.

The Differences Between a Virtual Assistant and an Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant

The differences between a virtual assistant (VA) and an internet marketing virtual assistant (IMVA) can be subtle as well as completely distinct and unique from one another.

A VA usually performs the same tasks that a traditional administrative assistant would, including typing, data entry and word processing, as well as some customer service duties either via telephone or email, whereas an IMVA would be concentrating more on drawing in new customers and increasing the company’s sales and revenue.

A virtual assistant might respond to customer inquiries by email or create new content for the website, while the internet marketing virtual assistant would be busy creating and perfecting the website before submitting it to search engines and web forums to increase traffic.

While both positions are focused on bettering their client’s business, each has a different set of important duties in order to make that happen.
